Double predestination = existential despair

A challenge to Calvinists: if you accept double predestination, do you also accept that ALL human action (including prayer, Bible study and teaching, evangelism, church attendance and tithing) is totally worthless and meaningless, and that God's justice demands that a one-minute-old baby should experience eternal conscious suffering in Hell?
